Neurofeedback Treatment
Neurofeedback has been proven effective in treating generalized anxiety, with significant improvements often seen in as few as 10-15 sessions.
Ten studies reviewed by Dr. Hammond back in 2005 and by Dr. Moore (2000), supported this, showing substantial improvements in most cases. Notably, neurofeedback has also been successful in reducing performance anxiety in musicians, dancers, singers, and surgeons in various controlled studies.
A study at the Royal College of Music showed neurofeedback to be the only of four treatments that enhanced musical performance under stress in peak performers (Egner & Gruzelier, 2003).
Other controlled studies demonstrated improvements in dance performance, acting, singing, golf, archery, and even in performing micro-surgery.
